University of Washington: UW Capstone Team Project with Alimentando al Pueblo

by Natalie & Maribel

English:

Dear Community,

We are two dedicated student-led teams from the University of Washington who are super
excited to be working and learning alongside you! One of our teams will be focusing on direct
engagement with you, the community, while the other will be collaborating more closely with
your valued community partners.

We are planning on conducting short 1-on-1 interviews with a few AAP community
partners to gather feedback to inform the types of questions we should ask in the surveys we are
developing. Our goal is to draft 10-15 question mid- and end-of-year surveys aimed at gathering
qualitative and quantitative data from AAP’s community partners. We will have English and
Spanish versions of our drafts to increase accessibility.

We are hoping to hear directly from both the community AAP is serving and partners
who are in collaboration with AAP to identify areas of improvement but also to be able to
connect with you so that AAP can support you better. Stay tuned for any updates and we look
forward to connecting with you very soon through our soon to be 1-on-1 interviews and surveys.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out through AAP’s social media
channels, or if you just want to get to know our teams a little better check out AAP’s social
media for a little introduction of our team members.

Spanish Translation:

Estimada comunidad,
